ENROLLMENT EVALUATION

For your dog's safety, as well as the safety of all the dogs in our care, every dog is required to participate in an enrollment interview prior to using any of our services here at Four Paws.   

 

The enrollment interview will include a tour of our facility with one of our managers who can answer any questions you might have, and then your dog will slowly be introduced to some of the regular dogs.  This interaction will allow us to evaluate your dog's temperament and current level of social development.  Our manager will also assess your dog's play style to see which group of dogs they might be most comfortable with.

REQUIREMENTS

  • All dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella and DHLPP/Distemper vaccinations. We advise all dogs to receive the Bordetella vaccine once every 6 months, however, it is required at least once a year. Please bring copies of your dog's vaccination certificates when you come for your enrollment evaluation.

  • We need a valid rabies certificate with the rabies serial number on it. 

  • All dogs must be spayed or neutered if they are over 6 months old.

  • Each dog must be friendly with other dogs and able to be handled by our staff. This can be determined at the enrollment evaluation.  

  • ​All dogs must be in good health, and should be on a preventative for fleas and ticks. 

  • Dogs should not attend daycare until they are at least 16 weeks old.
